The start of the last few weeks / Janneke Demoet’s Absence
Wednesday, we have started again after two weeks’ holiday with wonderful weather. Unfortunately, Janneke Demoet, our school director could not be present. During the holiday she had been hospitalised due to an operation on her eye. At the moment, she is recovering and we hope she gets well soon!
Group 5
In group 5 a new teacher started working, whose name is Ms Kim Vreugdenhil. It is possible for you to get acquainted with her, which is possible on Monday or Tuesday after school hours. Please use the strip attached to the newsletter (on paper)to do so and return it on Friday morning at the latest. The teacher will then let you know when it is possible for you to meet her.
The final CITO tests
We can be very proud of our children in group 8. We received the results in digital version enabling us to let you know that the group scored well. An average group score of 538.5!
As of next Monday we expect to receive the results on paper and we will be able to give the children their individual results.
School pictures
The children received the pictures of the school photographer. Please make sure to not open the package until you are absolutely sure to buy at least one sheet of the pictures. If you decide to buy pictures please make sure to hand in the exact money in the envelope on Wednesday 25th May, at the latest or return the entire package to the teacher.
Dutch class
The new teacher of Mondriaan will introduce herself on Friday. Parents attending the Dutch class will be welcome to meet her in our team room. Classes will then start as of Friday 27th May.
Homework guidance
For group 8 homework guidance has stopped. Group 7 will still continue until the last week of May.
Bicycles of children attending groups 7 and 8 belong in the bicycle racks next to our school. The bicycles parked on our large school yard, need to be placed in the racks correctly.
Calling Please make sure to call our school every day, preferably before school starts or as soon as possible. When visiting a GP or other doctor, please make sure the teacher has a copy of the appointment.
Lunch cards and payments
Lunch cards can still be bought with Ms Hanny on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
We do, however, appreciate bank payments using our school no NL65ABNA0580598128, mentioning your child’s name and group. Please keep in mind to also mention that the payment was made for overblijf. Payments for the entire year for bovenbouw will be an amount of €180.00 and for 6 months the amount is €90.00. For onderbouw the amount for an entire year is €140.00. It is no longer possible to pay for one separate time. Cards of for instance €5.00 will not lose value for quite some time.
When paying for a year or six months, the teacher will be notified and informed when you then need to pay again. When giant arrear in payments occur we will inform you (through a letter) that you need to wipe off the arrears before your child could spend its lunch hour at school again.
